The main lines in Hast Rekha

Indian palmistry (Hast Rekha Shastra / Samudrika Shastra) gives special attention to four lines:

  • Jeevan Rekha (Life line) — curves around the thumb; traditionally read for vitality and life changes, not lifespan.
  • Mastishk Rekha (Head line) — across the middle of the palm; thinking style and focus.
  • Hriday Rekha (Heart line) — below the fingers; emotions and relationships.
  • Bhagya Rekha (Fate line) — up the centre towards the middle finger; career and direction.

How to take a good palm photo

Use daylight or a bright, even light, keep the whole palm and fingers in frame, and hold the camera straight above the hand. Avoid strong shadows, filters and heavy creases from a half-closed hand. Most people read the dominant hand; some traditions read the right hand for men and the left for women.

Palmistry and Kundli together

Palm reading and Jyotish are separate traditions. MoKundli keeps them clearly labelled but lets you ask questions that use both your Hast Rekha and your Kundli context.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hast Rekha palm reading free?

Free accounts include a limited number of palm readings so you can try it; Premium includes more. Current limits are shown on the pricing page.

Which hand should I photograph?

Most palmists read your dominant (writing) hand for the present and future. You can read both hands and compare.

Is my palm photo stored?

Hand detection runs in your browser. The photo and reading are saved only to your private account so you can revisit them, and you can delete them.

Can palm lines predict my lifespan?

No. Traditional palmistry does not measure lifespan from the life line, and MoKundli will never make health or lifespan predictions. Treat palm reading as reflection, not fact.

What if the lines are traced wrongly?

You can correct or erase any line before the reading is generated, or retake the photo in better light.
